St.Ives Town and Warboys CC Merger

On Wednesday 12th September, St. Ives Town Cricket Club held an EGM and decided to progress with a merger with Warboys Cricket Club. This was followed on from a similar EGM at Warboys where they also decided to progress with the merger.
There was a lot of debate and discussion at both meetings but the decision was unanimous in that a merger was in the interests of both clubs and would protect the future of cricket in both St Ives and Warboys.
There is of course a lot of work now to do to get this all in place for next season and the 2 committees will be working together to ensure this is achieved. Any additional help would really be welcome as there really is a lot of work to do.
